Hi everybody
We have spent the last few days here at South Jetty. The temp here has been perfect 65 to 70 degree's. We went up Hwy 101 to a place where the seals hang out. There was a place we went down an elevator 200 feet to the largest seal cave in the world. No seals! We were told they were hanging out just up the road so we went there. Got some great pictures of them from the side of the road, there must of been at least a hundred of them there.
When we headed to South Jetty from Whalers Rest, Darlene and I stopped to look at a view point. The sea water was crashing on the rocks below, what a site! It even had a blow hole that shot water as the tide came in.
Of coarse we found the Three Rivers Casino just up the street from camp. The Indian's love us as Bill would say. We stopped at a beach and took a look around, Darlene tried to get Baby wet from the surf but Baby was too smart and ran back when the tide came in. We stopped at a restaurant today called Mos Mel wanted some hot hot clam chowder. Looks like we are done here and ready to hit the road in the morning. Our friends Andy and Linda use to tell us we got ta hit the road. I can now see why it's beautiful out here. Were headed to my Aunt Angie's and Aunt Diana's houses in Merlin Oregon next. I'm looking forward to seeing them again it's been a very long time.
Oh just in case you don't know this you can click on a picture and it will enlarge it.
Till next time
Gene, Darlene and Baby
