SnowFlower

These are pictures at Yosemite Lakes.

Hello from SnowFlower

Well we made it to SnowFlower July 30th 2008. We left Yosemite Lakes because the smoke from the fire was to much to bear. We made the mistake of coming up to SnowFlower on hwy 49. It is had lots of tight turns and step hills. The good thing about it was there was a lot of small beautiful towns along the way. There was a river along side the road. It had lots of spots that people were playing in the water. We saw diesel fuel for $4.79 a gal along the way.

We managed to park on the hill over looking the Snowflower lake. The spots are tight here. There is a paved parking lot on top for larger RV'. Lots of things to do such as boating, fishing,
pool, store, breakfast and more. Five bars on our cell phone and computer.

Bill and Mel are parked below us. They are under the trees and can,t get TV. They might go find a tri pod in town. There is mosquito's here at night. So we don't stay out side after dark. They seem to love Darlene a lot. We are staying here till the 13th. Oh there is no sewer hook ups,but they have a honey wagon for three pulls for $15 .They have nice shower,s so we will use them as much as we can.

Baby is having a ball. She just loves to travel and let the whole neighbor hood know she's here. There was some tall grass near the lake and Darlene spotted a place where the grass was flatten . She said that a Bear must have slept there. It was very close to where we are camped.

We will take lots of pictures for you to see later. Take care and call us if you want too.

Gene,Darlene and Baby
